Mii Tsuri: Oslo and Desucon 24.6-26.6

The 24th of June I took the train to Oslo to be a part of Jfashion.net's fashion show at Desucon and the Parapara show. The train ride went mutch better this time because my mom payed for the ticket and she bought the comfort seets for me because I have had a lot of back pain lately. I arrived in Oslo about 2pm and Monica and Marcus were waiting for me at the station. And we decided to have lunch together:)

I had pasta bolognese but it wasn't that good. It didn't taste anything!

After that we waited for Ingvild and Christine so we could go to eivind's place to practice for the parapara show. I stayed at Eivinds place together with Monica and Marcus. Amanda were also staying there. I can't wait to get to know her better! We practiced to about 11.30pm and then we relaxed for a few hours and then went to bed because we had to wake up early the following day (sorry didn't take any pictures that night). We woke up at 7.45am so that we were ready to be at desucon before 9am. None of us bothered to wake up earlier to put on makeup so we decided to do it at the congress center were we were promised a large changing room with everything we needed.

So we took the bus from Eivind's place and in to Oslo. when we arrived Oslo and the congress center where desucon is held Ingvild had not arrived yet and the stupid " bosses" at desucon suddenly said that we didn't have the changing room after all!!!!! I mean why are the cosplayers so mutch more important than us? we didn't need the changing room all day and we were the first ones out! Because of the way the desucon staff treated us we probably will not arrange a jfashion show next year! But heey we were awesome people and changed in a tiny bathroom and put on make-up on the floor in the nearby room.

Poor Monica forgot her circle lenses at eivind's place and She had to go back to get them! When she came back she had only 15 minutes to put on the rest of her make-up and to do her hair! And believe it or not she made it and she looked like a million bucks! I could never have pulled it off But the incredible Monica can!

Then the time of the show came and Ingvild went out on stage and started to talk about jfashion.

And then came the models turn. The first ones were Helene and Aleksander who were dressed as oshare and Visual kei.

The next ones out were the gyarus Ronja, Anja, Monica and myself. Ronja was Rokku, Anja was Manba, I was a sweet gyaru and Monica were a Onee gyaru which is her regular style.

I felt it went good but the only thing I could've done better was the pose part. Mine was way to short! But hey as long as people got to take some pictures HAHA! Then came the gyaruo's turn which was Marcus and Eivind. They looked awesome!

The Lolitas came out and were sooooo cute! Signe modeled Sweet lolita, Liv Marie modeled gothic lolita and Josephine(?) modeled classic lolita.

Ouji and ... were the next styles and the models were Aristocrat and Kodona.

I almost laughed myself to death when everybody had to go out at the end and bow to the audience. The sound people forgot to change song so we just stood there waiting for the new song until Ingvild chased us out on stage. Haha scary Ingvild x'D.

And when we were supposed to walk off stage Aleksander was suposed to walk of stage first and he just stood there and everybody else were impatiently waiting for him to get off. Then Monica just yelled to Aleksander GET OFF THE STAGE! Haha it was hysterical!

Everyone was happy it was over even though it was fun. When the show were over most of us went outside to get a group shot. The pictures were taken at Jonstorget.

After that we had to wait for several hours before the parapara show. We practiced for a while outside one of the toilets then we just watched some of the other stuff and then Monica and I changed to our dancing clothes. Ingvild desided to wait with changing until 7.30pm since the parapara show didn't start before 7.45pm. After that we sat with som tables fixing our makeup and practicing a little parapara while sitting down.

So we went back to the same place as before to practice some more. At this point I was really nervous! And I felt that the moves were not completely right yet. But suddenly came a guy from the desucon crew and said that we were supposed to be on stage now! Our reaction was WTH?!? When we looked at the clock it was 7pm not 7.45pm. I feel really sorry for the guy who came to give us the heads up! It wasn't his fault but the guys who arrange desucon. I started to curse and stress around like a maniac and sadly I kinda let it out on the poor guy! So we rushed up to where we were supposed to have our show but Ingvild had to change first and it was kinda panicky! But we made it in good time because the dance competition seemed to be never ending! As we got more nervous the crowd watching the dance competition started to scream really loud and Christine and I were on the brink of throwing up our hearts because the crowd screaming sounded like they were being murdured. The screaming reminded Christine and I about a scary movie that we had seen ( can't remember whitch one it was at the moment). Then the screaming ended and our turn came to get on stage. The announcer said over the speakers "And now there will be a parapara show at the main stage" and everybody started to gather around and started to yell out loud "PARAPARA!!!!!" As we walked out on stage and stopped at the center of the stage it felt like my heart was going to fly out of my mouth an never come back because of the immense buzz from the crowd. I hate being in front of a crowd afraid that I will make a fool of myself! As the music started to play and our legs started to move to the beat all that I was able to think was "don't make a fool of yourself, here we go!". But after a little while I actually started to think "heey this is going quite well! maybe it doesn't look that stupid after all". I also started to enjoy myself and didn't notice the audience that mutch. All in all I noticed only one fault by my accord(?), I might have done more but I didn't notice them. I was not able to look at Christine, Monica and Ingvild during the performance so I couldn't see how they were doing but I guess they did well! When the performance Finally were over and we got off stage to the cheers from the crowd I was so glad that I was jumping up and down almost screaming out of joy. Finally came time to relax and hang out with friends. After colecting our stuff backstage we went shopping for some treats and something to mix our alcohol with and were finally on our way to the "hemma party" at Eivinds place. It felt like the bus took ages to arrive since Monica, Marcus, Ingvild, Christine and I were so hyper and ready to party. But finally we were there and I felt like we were marching from the bus stop to get to Eivinds apartment as fast as possible. When we finally were indoors Eivind, Amanda, Aleksander and Ronja had already started and they were only waiting for us. Monica and I changed into dresses and then filled up our glasses. I had so mutch fun that night! Except from one little happening, but I will not write about that:P It became a really late night:) haha as usual. (Sorry again didn't take any pictures that night)

The next day we were up early got dressed, I packed my bags and then we took the bus from Eivind's place and got off at the desucon venue because I forgot the clothes that I wore at the jfashion show. When I had collected my stuff we met up with a friend of Monica and then went down To Oslo centralstation and met up with Ingvild and Signe. Then we bought some bbq food and took the trolly to frognerparken where Monica, Marcus, Ingvild, Signe, Amanda, Eivind, Christine, some friends of Monica and I chilled in the sun, had a bbq and talked. It was really nice!

But almost as soon as we had eaten I had to leave for the train station and Monica and Marcus were nice enough to follow me there:) My cuties! They even waited with me in the line for the bus. Yeah this time I had to take the bus from Oslo centralstation to Drammen and take the train from Drammen to Kristiansand because they were renovating the tracks between Oslo and Drammen. It was really sad to day goodbye to Monica this time because I feel that I have become really close to her! We had a long talk on saturday and she really showed me what we meen to each other! That girl is seriously amazing! I can't possibly understand Why people say that she has an ugly personality!! I love her<3 She is really nice. Maybe people just are intimidated by her increadible style and therefore just want to put her down? I don't know why they do, but one thing I know is that she don't care about what people say and just laugh at it and that I admire her for!

The trainride home went quite fast! I got to watch a movie on my laptop since I brought it. The movie that I watched is called 71 into the fire and is a korean movie taking place in South Korea during The war between South- and North Korea. The main character is played by Choi Seung Hyun AKA TOP from the Korean boy group BIGBANG. I love TOP so it's quite hard to do a neutral review of the movie. But this is the best acting he has done I think! I love war movies and the fights look quite real!++ BUT ON TO THE TRIP AGAIN... The only annoying thing is that there was a foreign family sitting around me being really noisy... Including that when I got on the train some of them were sitting in my seat and not wanting to move. And they were really rude and looking at my cellphone while I was texting.. And one of the kids were reading it out loud and their mom just went OK!. HELLO WOMAN!! You should have more control over your kids! Geez.. But anyhow as I said the trainride went quite fast and the seets were comfy so I felt I was home early, even though I didn't arrive in Kristiansand before 9.35pm. I had so mutch fun that weekend and I can't wait until I see my girls again!:)
